On April 29, 2022, in Warsaw, a press conference of Ukrainian human rights organizations on the enforced disappearances of active citizens in the russian-occupied territories of Ukraine will take place. The NGO “Media Initiative for Human Rights” and the ZMINA Human Rights Center will provide shocking information on the number of kidnapped citizens and their stories, give a floor to the relatives of missing activists, and present the analytical report on enforced disappearances and arbitrary detentions in Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

The event is a part of the international conference "After the War: Rethinking the Future of Civil Society" that will be held on April 27-29 in Warsaw.

The discussion will be attended by:

- Tetiana Pechonchik, the Head of the ZMINA Human Rights Center;
- Tetiana Katrychenko, Coordinator of the NGO “Media Initiative for Human Rights”;
- Anastasia Novitskaya, a daughter of the missing activist Serhiy Tsygipa;
- Natalia Melnychenko, sister of the missing volunteer Ievhen Hurianov.

The discussion will be moderated by Olga Reshetylova, Coordinator of the NGO “Media Initiative for Human Rights”.

The conference will be translated into English.
